2017 FedEx St. Jude Classic DFS Lineup

FedEx St. Jude Classic

The PGA Tour makes its way to TPC Southwind in Memphis this week for the FedEx St. Jude Classic. It will be the final stop before next week’s US Open with several notables using this event as one final tune-up before the next major championship event. We took the time to break down the golfer price tags and relative values on DraftKings in order to provide you with a winning fantasy roster for this week’s tournament.

Here is a look at the optimal lineup for this week’s DraftKings PGA fantasy competitions at the FedEx St. Jude Classic.

Francesco Molinari, $10,500

Molinari has been hot all season showing upsides in both weak and stronger fields. Molinari opened the year with back-to-back top-10 finishes at the WGC-HSBC Champions and Shriners Open and he is coming off another top-10 finish at THE PLAYERS Championship. Molinari finished 34th at this event a year ago but he is playing at a much higher level this year and he should be able to build off that poor performance. Molinari is also available at a much more reasonable price than some of the other top options on the board, which gives us some flexibility throughout our lineup.

Daniel Berger, $9,300

Berger hasn’t been at his best since a fifth-place finish at the Shell Houston Open. However, that performance immediately preceded a 27th place finish in the 2017 Masters so perhaps he will have another inspired performance in the final tune-up before the US Open. Berger already has three top-10 finishes so far this season so he should be a legitimate contender in a relatively weaker field in Memphis this week.

Kyle Stanley, $8,400

All of the statistics point towards a strong performance from Stanley this week as he ranks fourth in the field in SG:APP, third in par 4 scoring and 13th in BoB%. His form has been good all year as he has registered four top-10 finishes and eight top 25 finishes. Two of his top-10 results have come over the course of his last three events so Stanley might be the ideal pick at an excellent value for this week’s FedEx St. Jude Classic DraftKings tournaments.

Ian Poulter, $7,600

Poulter is another excellent value pick based on his price tag relevant to his potential to contend this week in Memphis. The veteran has been on point of late with three straight top-35 performances including a runner-up finish in THE PLAYERS Championship. At under $8K in DraftKings competitions, Poulter is an absolute steal that should be in every single lineup.

Peter Uihlein, $7,200

Uihlein is another golfer that feels underpriced at just $7.2K for this event. He has played well on both the European and PGA Tour this season and he hasn’t missed ac cut since December. Uihlein ranks first in the field in strokes gained off the tee and ninth in strokes gained tee to green over the last 12 weeks. At such a dramatically low price, it makes sense to lock Uhlein in to your DraftKings lineup.

Tom Hage, $6,800

Our lone pick from the sub-$7K range is Hage, who should probably be closer to the price we will pay for Uihlein this week. Hage has played here twice including a T-12th in 2015 and a T-34th here last year. His overall numbers support the notion that his game is suited for this course so lock in Hage as the perfect sleeper pick to round out the optimal DraftKings lineup for the FedEx St. Jude Classic this week.
