It’s now the finale night of American Idol 2018 and who will be crowned the winner? If you haven’t been spoiled yet and don’t want to be, look away, but here is the rundown of events leading up to and including the winner’s announcement.
The night opened with Lionel Ritchie singing “All Night Long.” Fun!
Caleb comes out and does his impression of Luke and a spot on impression of Lionel Richie! This kid is awesome.
Jurnee sings with Nick Jonas. Dang, the boots! (Sorry I know this is a sports site, but dang, THE BOOTS!
Luke Bryan debuts his new song Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset! Gabby joins him on stage to sing Luke’s Most People Are Good with him. They sound great together. I hope Luke takes her on tour with him.
Cade and Dennis Lorenzo sing Bright Lights with Gary Clark Jr.
Season Two is revealed! Maddie and Kermit sing The Rainbow Connection. All the feels and the best thing of the night.

They bring back Laila Springs and Dixie singing “Blue.” Dang, Laila can sing and her sister is so cute and has a good tone for her age. LOL
