The Favorites

Inbee Park +800

Park is a two-time U.S. Women’s Open winner and heads in to this week at the top of her game. It should be no surprise that she is the sports betting favorite to win this week’s event. Park has played so well in recent months that she is among the favorites to win every event that she plays in but the fact that she has dominated here makes her that much more intriguing. Park will be a popular sports betting pick this week.

Ariya Jutanugarn +800

Listed as the co-favorite to win this week, there is no doubt that Jutanugarn has the talent to win the U.S. Women’s Open Championship. Jutanugarn is an eight-time LPGA Tour winner and while she hasn’t yet figured out the Shoal Creek Course this could very well be the year that she does. Jutanugarn is too talented to continue to struggle at this event. While she might not record the outright victory, Jutanugarn is a co-favorite to win for a reason and she should be in the mix as a potential top-five pick this week.

Next In Line

Shanshan Feng +1200

Feng has recorded a pair of top-three finishes in her last four starts and can’t be overlooked heading in to this major championship. The No. 2 ranked golfer in the Rolex Rankings has four top-10 victories this season and should contend again in Alabama this week. Feng’s +1200 price tag should increase her betting popularity for the U.S. Women’s Open Championship.

Minjee Lee +1400

Lee enters this tournament with a ton of momentum on her side after recording her first victory of the season at the LPGA Volvik Championship last week. Lee has the talent to be a perennial contender and she has been fairly consistent all season including four top-10 finishes. At +1400 odds, Lee is available at decent value to win this tournament outright.

Moriya Jutanugarn +1400

Jutanugarn hasn’t won since she took the HUGEL-JTBC LA Open back in April but she has certainly come close with three top-11 finishes in her last five starts including a third-place finish in last week’s LPGA Volvik Championship. Jutanugarn has been as consistent as they come in recent weeks and there is no reason to expect her to slow down this week. At +1400 odds, Jutanugarn should be a popular sports betting pick this week.

Sleeper Picks

Cristie Kerr +6600

This will be Kerr’s 22nd U.S. Women’s Open appearance and it will be very interesting to see whether or not she can contend this week. Kerr hasn’t exactly dominated on the LPGA Tour this season but she knows this course well and could be an intriguing sleeper pick. Kerr is still looking for her first win of the season but she certainly knows this course well enough to contend if she can put it all together this week. At +6600 odds to win outright, Kerr could be a sneaky good sleeper value pick.

Megan Khang +8000

Khang might be the most intriguing sleeper pick on the board this week after flashing her potential in each of her last two starts. The rising star is coming off back-to-back top-six finishes and it will be very interesting to see if she can extend her hot streak this week. Khang made strides in each of the last two weeks and if she can build off those strong back-to-back appearances she could be a sneaky good value pick at the U.S. Women’s Open Championship. While she is far from a lock, Khang might be worth consideration at long odds to contend at the second major championship of the LPGA season.
