We’re heading into Week 16 of the English Premier League and Leicester is still at the top of the table. Jamie Vardy’s impressive goals-scoring streak has ended but will he start a new one this week? Here are the top storylines for Week 16.
Will Hat-Trick Hero Giroud Start At Aston Villa?
Arsenal is battling through a slew of injuries but they’re second in the league and are going to the knockout stages of the Champion League. Oliver Giroud gets a lot of criticism but he scored a hat trick in Arsenal’s 3-0 win at Olympiakos to fire them through. When Giroud is good, he is very good and seemingly perfect for Arsenal’s style of play. He should get the start as Arsenal heads to Aston Villa, who are bottom of the table with six points and are in deep trouble.
Villa has two draws and five losses at Villa Park this season hile Arsenal is one of two teams in the league with five wins away from home. This game is there for the taking for the Gunners, but they have struggled in these sorts of games in the past.

Liverpool Tries To Bounce Back Against West Brom
Liverpool was flying high in the Jurgen Klopp era but they learned that they still have work to do in a 2-0 loss at Newcastle. They’re eighth in the table and of course, Daniel Sturridge is injured once again with hamstring problems. Meanwhile Christian Benteke is the player that is having the most trouble with Klopp’s system. That means Divorgi Origi has to step up for Liverpool after his hat trick in the Capitol One Cup and he’ll probably get his chance against West Brom, who are 13th in the table. One thing that you must keep an eye on, though, is that Liverpool has to travel to Switzerland to play FC Sion in the Europa League on Thursday, so fatigue could be an issue – especially in Klopp’s high-pressure system.

Leiceister Welcomes Chelsea To Town
After those Sunday games, the game of the week comes from Leicester, the home of the league leaders. Yes, that’s right: Leicester’s 3-0 win at Swansea City left them at the top of the table. Even though Jamie Vardy’s goal streak ended at 11 games, but Riyad Mahrez notched a hat trick. They’ll play host to Chelsea, who are 14th in the league, but they’re coming off progression to the Champions League round of 16 and they’ll hope to carry that momentum over to Monday’s game. However, Chelsea has been awful away from home even worse than they are at Stamford Bridge. They have one win, two draws and four losses on the road with seven goals scored and 13 conceded. Leicester has four wins and two draws in seven home games 14 goals scored but they have conceded 12. Leicester has looked lethal on the counterattack this season and that could spell trouble for Chelsea, who have been slow through midfield and their back line has been shockingly bad.
