Video Blog: British Boxing Takes Center Stage This Weekend

Tyson Fury enters the ring with Dereck Chisora this Saturday in London.

This Saturday at London’s Excel Arena, heavyweights Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora meet for the second time in what will almost assuredly be heated battle.  Right now at the sportbooks, Fury is a (-300) favorite over Chisora, who is returning at (+250).

Look for lines on many of the matches on this massive 13-fight card to pop up at the books as we get closer to fight time.

In this latest blog, boxing expert Miguel Iturrate reviews the Fury-Chisora match-up as well as we get our first look at two of the other fights on the card that are already at the books.  At middleweight, undefeated contenders Billy Joe Saunders (20-0) and Chris Eubank Jr (18-0) face off in a fight that is getting a ton of attention in the British press.  The fight opened a near pick ’em, but the line has moved to favor Saunders at (-140), with the comeback on Eubank Jr. at (+120).

Also at the books is the welterweight tilt between Frankie Gavin and Bradley Skeete, which sees Skeete stepping up his competition level big time as he faces of against the popular Gavin.  There are British and Commonwealth titles on the line, a level Gavin has been at for a while but a level Skeete is tasting for the first time.  Take a look at the details in this latest blog…..
