Although the NFL season doesn’t start for 55 days, fantasy football fans are in countdown mode.
If you are a legit fantasy football fan, you’ll want to be in North Texas this weekend. That’s where the National Fantasy Football Convention will provide an interactive, three-day event. The event will feature a series of exhibits, performances and parties.
The NFFC will include 200 players. Among them: Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, Rams running back Todd Gurley, Chargers running back Melvin Gordon, Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt and Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II. Jones is a Texas native.
Recently, Elliott joined former Dallas quarterback Tony Romo as co-owner of the fantasy football group. Their other co-owners: Executive Director Andy Alberth and business partner Mark Hulme.
Onsite Fantasy Coverage
GetMoreSports.com will be on the scene. Expect a ton of exclusive one-on-one video interviews with some of the NFL’s top stars. We’ll aim to help everyone gain insight into who to draft this season. We will also track down fantasy experts to pick their brains.
The 2018 NFFC will take place at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth. There, football fans can throw around the pigskin with active NFL players. They can also learn draft strategies from fantasy gurus and meet their favorite stars.
The first two NFFC events were scheduled for Las Vegas and Pasadena, respectively, but the league shut the conventions down by threatening sanctions against key figures who were slated to make an appearance — most notably, Romo.
The Legend’s Lounge
The event will feature a Legend’s Pass, which is essentially an MVP pass. Thus, the Legend’s Lounge will feature Elliott, Michael Irvin and many more Cowboys players.
Additionally, this private lounge will hold 100 diehard Cowboys fans. They’ll get to meet some of biggest NFL stars in an intimate setting. This pass guarantees fans a meeting with Elliott, Irvin and dozens more Cowboys.
The Ultimate Fantasy League is an actual fantasy football league. Active NFL stars (players to be announced) and several lucky NFFC fans compete in the league. The convention provides attendees with an automatic entry in the fan draw.
