Video Blog: UFC 181 Odds for Preliminary Card

The UFC 181 card is heading to the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas next Saturday, Dec. 6.  The card is headlined by two title defenses as welterweight champion Johny Hendricks faces off against Robbie Lawler and lightweight titleholder Anthony Pettis defends his belt against Gilbert Melendez.   The last 24 hours saw the lines for the preliminary card hit the books.

In this latest blog, we review the lines and the over/under for all six of the preliminary fights.  A particular spotlight on the under card falls on the bantamweight division, in both the men and the women’s ranks.

Normally a main card draw, Urijah Faber headlines the prelims as he faces hard hitting Francisco Rivera.   Sergio Pettis, the brother of lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, faces off against Matt Hobar.  And Raquel Pennington faces Ashlee Evans-Smith in a match that was put together three weeks ago when Holly Holm suffered a neck injury training and was replaced by Evans-Smith.

As usual, the preliminary fights will be available with the UFC’s Fight Pass.  The weigh-ins are scheduled for Friday and are must-see viewing for the wise bettor.
