Miami Heat Looking for a Road Win on Wednesday Night at Indiana Pacers on ESPN

NBA Playoff Odds: The Miami Heat will be looking for another road win at Indiana as the teams play Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday night on ESPN. The Miami Heat won Game 2 of this series at Indiana but in recent seasons they have struggled on the road at Indiana. Not many people believe that the Indiana Pacers can win this series but at least at home they have a chance to win on Wednesday. Here is a look at the matchup and NBA playoff predictions.

Is There Any Hope for the Indiana Pacers in this Series?

Before this series started the Miami Heat were listed as about a 5-1 favorite. Even after splitting the first two games at Indiana, the Miami Heat were about a 4-1 favorite. Not many people give the Indiana Pacers much of a chance to win this series. The problem for the Indiana Pacers is that they simply don’t have the offensive firepower to handle the Miami Heat. Paul George is a good player and Lance Stephenson and David West are solid players but LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are great players. And great players normally beat good players.

Miami Heat vs. Indiana Pacers Series

This has been a pretty even series in the past few years with the home team doing really well. The Indiana Pacers have won 7 of the last 10 at home in this series. The teams split their first two game at Indiana in this series with the Indiana Pacers winning 107-96 in Game 1 while the Miami Heat won 87-83 in Game 2. Four of the last five at Indiana have gone under the total.

NBA Playoff Predictions

The Indiana Pacers can give the Miami Heat trouble at times but it is hard to see James and Wade losing this series unless one of them gets hurt. I will lay the points with the Miami Heat on Wednesday and also play the game under the total.
