Video Blog: UFC 183 Main Odds

Brazil's Thiago Alves faces Jordan Mein in Saturday's UFC 183.

This Saturday Night’s UFC 183 card has complete lines up at the sportbooks for all the fights on the twelve bout card.  The main event of Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva and the co-main event of Tyrone Woodley and Kelvin Gastelum were reviewed in a previous video blog.

At lightweight, veteran Joe Lauzon faces up and coming Al Iaquinta in match that may see Lauzon, a longtime divisional fixture, pass the torch to a younger, fresher fighter.  Lauzon has always had the ability to surprise however, and he is still young.  Lauzon has not fought consistently, lately, getting only one fight in for 2104, so hopefully he comes out of this fight in one piece.

At middleweight, Thales Leites of Brazil is looking to extend his winning ways against the inconsistent Tim Boetsch, and in the welterweight division Jordan Mein faces inconsistent Brazilian Thiago Alves.

In the ladies bantamweight division, Sara McMann faces Meisha Tate in a high-level bout between two of the division’s top talents.  Both have had a shot at Ronda Rousey and failed to win the title, and both need a win to keep momentum going.

In our latest video blog, our MMA expert Miguel Iturrate takes a look at the odds for the rest of the UFC’s main card.
