Video Blog: Friday’s Bellator 133 Odds

Alexander Shlemenko enters as a solid favorite (-280) for Friday's Bellator 133 main event.

Bellator 133 comes to us Friday at the SaveMart Center in Fresno, Calif with a main event that features Alexander Shlemenko taking on Melvin Manhoef.

Shlemenko is the disgraced former middleweight champion for Bellator, but he lost his title in less than one minute in his last outing, and in the fight prior to that he lost in less than two minutes.  He has been embarrassed two times in a row in the Bellator cage, which he used to be hyped as dominating.

Now, he is matched with a striker that on paper has his level of prowess.  The line has it right as Manhoef is on Shlemenko’s level 0f striking only there.  Manhoef can be explosive, but he tires in fights and has suspect chin and suspect defense.  Shlemenko will beat you standing fast, or if you can take a few blows, he will settle in to a war of attrition where he bludgeons his opponent with body shots.  With no fear of being taken to the ground, this should be a showcase for Shlemenko.

For Bellator, they live event is offering 12 fights, however only the four main card fights are receiving lines at the books.  Check out the lines in this latest edition of our MMA video blog:
