When UConn landed the commitment of Seton Hall transfer Sterling Gibbs, some people seemed to forget about a five-star point guard that is been committed to the Huskies for as long as we can remember.
Jalen Adams, one of the top prospects in New England, has long been one of the most highly recruited lead guards on the eastern seaboard.
With Gibbs on board ,the Huskies will now have one of the most electric and talented backcourts in the American athletic conference and possibly beyond me that as well.

Strength: The first thing you notice about Adams when watching him play, is the energy that he brings to the offense of aunt. Put the ball in his hands and something is going to happen, whether it is by his own shot, attacking ability, or his ability to include others in the offense. score from all three levels, creating separation on the perimeter with his ball handling and change of speeds, while also using his length to finish creatively at the rim. Adams is an explosive athlete, making him a perfect fit for Kevin Ollie’s system.
Areas to Improve: Adams does have room to improve as a creator for others, as he may be tasked with running some point guard and allowing Gibbs to run the show at SG. The two could also flip the other way, though. Either way, Adams will need to show that he’s willing to buy into the good of the team and not force things offensively, like he can be guilty of doing at times.
