The Serie A season is winding down and while the only concern for Juventus fans right now is the finals for both the Champions League and Coppa Italia, there is a slim piece of their focus that has already shifted to the offseason. There are a slew of persistent rumors surrounding the club making some fans wonder what type of summer it’s going to be. Here is a look at five recent transfer rumors surrounding Juventus and whether or not they deserve to be classified as Fact or Fiction right now.
Alvaro Morata
After he scored the deciding goal in Juventus’ Champions League Semi-Final win over Real Madrid, it was really no surprise that Morata’s name came up in transfer talks. He’s a player that at least a handful of clubs would be interested in acquiring. The 22-year-old forward struck down any talk about potentially leaving Juventus when he said again that he has not considered leaving the club this offseason and considering the role he has played in their success this season and the fact that they want to keep him as one of their primary strikers up front, there is no reason to believe the rumors surrounding Mortata’s potential transfer. He enters the final weekend with eight goals so far this season. Verdict: Fiction

Paul Pogba
No player on the Juventus roster has been talked about more in potential transfer rumors than Pogba but the reality at this point is that it is much more likely than not that he stays for one more year. Juventus would demand far too great a price to even consider moving a player that has played such an integral role in their success this season. Although he only has eight goals in Serie A action, he does lots for the team other than just finish. Expect Pogba to stay put with the top club in Serie A for at least one more season and then bounce. Verdict: Fiction
Edison Cavani
Juventus has been linked to reinforcements up front where they could use some more offensive flare. Cavani has 16 goals in Ligue 1 so far this season, which is tied for the fourth-most in the league. While Cavani’s name has come up in potential transfer talks, the reality is that establishing an agreement with his current team Paris Saint-Germain will not be easy. PSG has received plenty of interest in their veteran attacking midfielder and with rumors that they could demand upwards of 60 million euros for his services, there is a good chance that Cavani will cost too much money for Juventus to afford him. Look for him to eventually move but the financial numbers here look to be too rich for Juventus’ taste. Verdict: Fiction
Paul Dybala
One name that has come up a lot in potential transfer rumors with Juventus is Palermo striker Paulo Dybala, whose representatives reportedly met with the team recently to discuss the details of a five-year contract. Massimiliano Allegri has not confirmed that anything has been finalized with the 21-year-old Argentinean at this point but it seems like Dybala’s move to Juventus is closer to happening than not. Arsenal and Manchester City are also in the mix, but it looks like Juventus has the upper hand on one of the brightest young stars of Serie A. Verdict: Fact
Radja Nainggolan
This is one name whose potential link to Juventus seems much more likely to be fiction than fact especially considering the position is already loaded for the Serie A champions. Juventus has much more pressing needs than in the midfield and unless they start moving out some of the midfielders they have, why would they push for Nainggolan? Don’t expect them to make a play for him. He is currently co-owned by AS Roma and Cagliari, and will be playing somewhere other than Juventus next season. Verdict: Fiction
