Junior Galette Did Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night, Instead He Blew Up Twitter

To tweet or not to tweet? That is the question.

Linebacker Junior Galette made it clear after the New Orleans Saints cut him over the weekend that his feelings were hurt. Instead of using that hurt to fill up his feelings journal or compose an epic slam poem, he instead went to Twitter to air his grievances like it was the first day of Festivus.

Galette was ejected from the Saints’ facilities after a video surfaced of him beating a woman with a belt at a beach party like she was Adrian Peterson’s kid. This was just a few months after he got a domestic assault charge thrown out of court. It also didn’t help that, according to the Times-Picayune, he was also an ass.

The newspaper article quotes multiple team sources basically saying that once Galette got his big contract, he got really lazy, though I think that’s just because no one on the team saw his belt-whipping skills.

But is Galette not a man too? Prick him, does he not bleed? Tickle him, does he not laugh? Wrong him, does he not seek revenge?

Indeed he does. And he does it on his girlfriend’s Twitter page. The tweets were deleted after they caused their ruckus, but luckily for us the internet stepped in to save the screen caps. Of course there’s no way to know if this wasn’t just Galette’s girlfriend defending him, but, you know, come on.

Here are some of them. Let me throw out a language warning here for those of you who need to stand near a fainting couch.

Galette managed to take on some fans while dishing out the dirt.

But Galette saved his biggest personal burn, from what I can find, for former Saints defensive end Will Smith, who decided to weigh in on the exchange.

So it’s obvious that the impulse control issues that got arrested in January and cut by the Saints are completely under control.

In related news, Galette did pass his physical today and is eligible to be signed as a free agent by any team that wants him.
