WWE Night of Champions Odds and Preview: Seth Rollins Meets Sting

The World Wrestling Entertainment’s “Night of Champions” pay per view is set for Sunday, and the full card has lines up at the sport books.  The theme of the show is that all the WWE titles are on the line, and therefore as the holder of the US and heavyweight titles, Seth Rollins, is center stage in two of the main events.

The heavyweight title bout and main event sees Rollins facing legendary pro wrestler Sting.  This will be Sting’s second match in the WWE after he lost to Triple H at Wrestlemania, so it will be interesting to see if the icon goes 0-2 with the big show.  Former champion and known brawler Sheamus waits in the wings and could affect the utcome of this bout, as he could invoke a contractual clause and walk out with the belt at the end of the day.

In the United States title bout, Rollins will face former champion and UFC poster boy John Cena.  Cena is looking to regain the belt he lost to Rollins, and he is favored to do so.  So far, Rollins has done a terrific job in building heat up as a “bad guy” or heal, and an underhanded finish that sees Rollins keep the belt is a possibility.

Despite the scripted outcomes, the books do carry lines on the WWE due to the company’s ability to write creative outcomes and because they are able to keep the true storylines very close to the vest.  Tune in this Sunday, because anything can happen at “Night of Champions”.
