Aaron Jones and the Texas-El Paso Miners battle Blake Bogenschutz and the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners in a game that will feature two of the CUSA’s best players to start this young season. The Miners have gone 2-2 thus far, while the Roadrunners are 0-4. The game will begin Saturday, Oct 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
In last week’s matchup, UTEP defeated Incarnate Word 27-17. Ryan Metz had a great game through the air in the victory, connecting on 20 of 28 pass attempts for 275 yards and two TDs. Hayden Plinke put up 80 receiving yards on four catches. UTSA suffered a narrow defeat against Colorado State 33-31 in its matchup. Jarveon Williams had a huge game running the ball for the Roadrunners, rushing 13 times for 170 yards and two TDs.
UTSA is a slender two-point favorite as they take on the Miners.
