Utah just earned a 17-6 win over Northern Illinois. The defensive unit allowed the Huskies to run for 117 yards on 43 rush attempts. Jauan Wesley was a bright spot in the defeat for Northern Illinois, accounting for 73 yards on eight catches. For Utah, Tyler Huntley completed 20-of-31 passes for 286 yards. Huntley (-9 yards on 19 rush attempts) and Zack Moss (66 yards on 16 carries, one TD) spearheaded the running game as Britain Covey (eight receptions, 129 yards) and Jaylen Dixon (two catches, 50 yards) led the Utah pass-catchers in the win.
Washington has run the ball on 46.5 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Utah has a rush percentage of 50.3 percent. The Huskies have produced 149 rush yards/game and have three touchdowns on the ground this year. The Utes are logging 168 rushing yards per game and have two total rush TDs.
