Cleveland Browns vs Baltimore Ravens Game Preview

The Cleveland Browns (1-3) travel to play the Baltimore Ravens (1-3) this week in a clash between two teams who’ve gotten off to slow starts. The game starts at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct 11 and can be seen on CBS.

After winning both of its meetings last season, Baltimore gets its first shot of the season against division rival Cleveland this week. Pernell McPhee led the Ravens defense in the last game against the Browns, totaling four tackles and two sacks. Paul Kruger led the Cleveland defense, registering three tackles and one sack.

Baltimore is a six-point favorite in this game and the Over/Under (O/U) is set at 44 points.

Heading into Week 5 of league action, the Ravens are 1-3 Straight Up (SU) and 0-3-1 Against The Spread (ATS). One of the keys to the game will be if the Ravens can take advantage of Cleveland’s shaky pass protection, which ranks 28th in the league in sacks allowed with 3.5 per game. Baltimore finishes games strong, averaging 9.8 points in the fourth quarter.

Compared to the Ravens, the Browns have a record of 2-2 ATS and 1-3 SU. The Browns could take advantage of Baltimore’s reputation as a slow starter on defense. The Ravens are 27th in the NFL in first-quarter points allowed with 6.5.
