The Broncos came up short to San Diego State 19-13 in a game where the passing attack wasn’t where it needed to be as Brett Rypien completed just 21 passes on 41 attempts for 170 yards and two interceptions. Richardson (five receptions, 38 yards) and John Hightower (four catches, 27 yards) handled the receiving duties in the defeat.
Nevada just fell 21-3 to Fresno State. Cristian Solano completed 22-of-43 passes for 195 yards and three interceptions. The Wolf Pack are putting up 163 rush yards per game (155 in conference) and have 11 total rushing TDs.

The Broncos have rushed for 4.0 yards per carry while allowing a YPC of 3.8 to opponents.

Defensively, Boise State should have the upper hand when it comes to limiting the pass. The team has allowed 131 rush yards and 180 pass yards per game. The Nevada defense has allowed 256.2 yards per game to opposing passers and 133.3 yards per game to opposing runners. Offensively, Rypien has put up 1,217 passing yards on the year. He’s completed 101-of-153 attempts with 10 scores through the air and only two interceptions. Rypien has a 7.52 adjusted net yards per pass attempt overall, although that number sits at 4.82 over the past two outings.
A.J. Richardson, Alexander Mattison and Sean Modster have combined to account for 430 total yards and four touchdowns over the last couple of outings.
