NFL Week 7 Betting Odds: Look-ahead Lines

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

One game is in the books for Week 6 as the Philadelphia Eagles seem to have gotten their season back on track by whipping the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football. While the rest of the league gets underway on Sunday and Monday, we’ve already got some Week 7 to look-ahead lines to ponder:

Tennessee Titans vs. Los Angeles Chargers (in London)

Opening Line: Chargers -3

Our second London game of the year features the Titans and Chargers. This looks like it’ll be important for playoff positioning as both are eyeing a run at the Wild Card.

Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles

Opening Line: Eagles -3

The Eagles will have had 10 days off to prepare for this game after disposing of the Giants on Thursday Night Football. This will be the Panthers third straight opponent from the NFC East.

Minnesota Vikings at New York Jets

Opening Line: Vikings -4

For a second straight week, the Vikings face a rookie quarterback. They’re one of many road favorites on the week.

New England Patriots at Chicago Bears

Opening Line: Patriots -3

Are the Bears for real? We’ll find out when they host the Patriots, who are fresh off a showdown with the Kansas City chiefs.

Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts

Opening Line: Colts -5.5

The Colts have had a rough time to start the year with a tough schedule. This will be the weakest opponent they’ve faced to date.

Cleveland Browns at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Opening Line: Buccaneers -1.5

When’s the last time the Browns were a road favorite? They could close as one in this spot. The Buccaneers have really struggled after starting 2-0 while the Browns are a team that’s heading in the opposite direction, surging since Baker Mayfield took over under center.

New Orleans Saints at Baltimore Ravens

Opening Line: PK

This will be an intriguing cross-conference showdown. Both teams play much better at home, so the Ravens should have a sizable edge here — even though the line doesn’t suggest it.

Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins

Opening Line: Redskins -3 (+100)

The NFC East has been terrible this season. Surprisingly, this could be a battle for first place in the division.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers

Opening Line: Rams -12.5

The Rams are a massive road favorite at San Francisco in this spot. This will be their third straight road game as well as the third straight game they’re favored by a touchdown or more on the road.

Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs

Opening Line: Chiefs -6.5

This will be a battle for pecking order in the AFC. Both teams have combined for just one loss as we enter Week 6.

New York Giants at Atlanta Falcons

Opening Line: Falcons -3.5 (+100)

Surprisingly, this is a showdown of one-win teams. While few people are surprised by the Giants, it is surprising to see the Falcons join them in the NFL’s basement.

Other Look-ahead Lines

Denver Broncos at Arizona Cardinals

Opening Line: Broncos -2.5

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars

Opening Line: OTB

Detroit Lions at Miami Dolphins

Opening Line: Lions -2
