On the offensive side of the ball, Jonathan Banks completed 14-of-22 passes for just 153 yards and one interception. Banks (34 yards on 18 rush attempts, one TD) also led the ground attack and was complemented by Darius Bradwell (72 yards on 13 carries, one TD). Terren Encalade (four receptions, 39 yards) and Stephon Huderson (three catches, 39 yards) shared the receiving duties in the defeat.
Tulsa was just shut out 23-0 by Arkansas. The defensive unit allowed the Razorbacks to rush for 196 yards on 53 attempts, along with one rushing TD. Rakeem Boyd had a good outing for Arkansas, posting 99 rushing yards on 22 attempts. For Tulsa, Seth Boomer completed eight-of-25 passes for 127 yards and one interception. Shamari Brooks (91 yards on 20 rush attempts) and the signal-caller Boomer (-6 yards on 12 carries) spearheaded the running attack as Keylon Stokes (three receptions, 74 yards) and Justin Hobbs (two catches, 12 yards) led the pass-catching corps in the loss.
Breaking down the offensive play-calling, each squad has a strikingly similar (64-36) run-pass ratio on the season. The Green Wave have run for 188 yards per game (including 207 per game versus American Athletic Conference opponents) and have 14 touchdowns on the ground this year. The Golden Hurricane are totaling 198 rushing yards per game (209 in conference) and have 11 total rush TDs.
It appears that the Green Wave could have an edge in terms of RB efficiency. Their backfield has produced 4.3 yards per carry while the defense is allowing 3.9 YPC to opponents. The Golden Hurricane have rushed for 3.9 yards per carry and given up a YPC of 4.9 to opponents.

Offensively, Banks is up to 1,072 passing yards this year. The signal-caller has connected on 53 percent of his 134 attempts with five passing scores and two interceptions. Banks has a 6.08 adjusted net yards per pass attempt overall, although that number sits at 2.36 over the last two outings.
We’re expecting the Green Wave to control the clock by feeding their running backs early and often. Darnell Mooney (495 yards, four TDs) has been a recent factor in the passing game, but backfield mates Darius Bradwell (453 rush yards, five rush TDs) and Stephon Huderson (171 rush yards, 60 receiving yards) have been focal points in the offensive gameplans for Tulane.
Seth Boomer has completed 21-of-56 passes for 354 yards, one TD and two INTs for Tulsa. His ANY/A stands at a minuscule 3.36 for the year and 2.47 over his past two outings.
The Golden Hurricane should also look to control the clock by turning to their backfield. Along with Keylon Stokes (282 receiving yards), Shamari Brooks (466 rush yards, four rush TDs) and Corey Taylor II (465 rush yards, four rush TDs, 41 receiving yards) have gotten a lot of touches lately.
