If one side can get out in front in the early stages it’ll create a nice live betting opportunity. Vegas has set the over/under (O/U) at 52 points.

The profitable Cyclones have gained 3.9 units so far in 2018 and are 5-2 against the spread (ATS). The team’s posted an O/U record of 3-4. The Jayhawks have lost 0.6 units for moneyline bettors this season. They’re 4-4 ATS and own an O/U record of 4-3.

The Cyclones are coming off a 40-31 victory over Texas Tech last week. The passing game could’ve been sharper as Brock Purdy completed only 13-of-27 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns. David Montgomery (125 rushing yards on 33 attempts, two TDs) and the signal-caller Purdy (47 yards on 14 carries) led the running attack in the win. The Kansas defense has given up 267.0 yards per game to opposing passers and 166.0 yards per game to opposing runners. The Cyclones are allowing an adjusted net yards per pass attempt (ANY/A) of only 5.40 to opposing QBs, while the Jayhawks have given up a 6.53 ANY/A.

Offensively, Purdy is up to 568 passing yards on the year, and has connected on 62 percent of his 50 attempts with six passing scores and only one interception. Purdy’s got a sparkling 11.04 adjusted net yards per pass attempt, including 9.82 over the last two games.
