North Carolina most-recently lost a 31-21 game to Virginia. The defense allowed the Cavaliers to eat up the clock by running for 208 yards on 44 rush attempts, along with one rushing TD. Olamide Zaccheaus put up a solid outing in the win, recording 108 yards on 10 catches for Virginia. For North Carolina, Nathan Elliott completed 22-of-38 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns. Michael Carter (42 yards on eight rush attempts, one TD) handled the ground game in the defeat as Beau Corrales (four receptions, 62 yards) and Anthony Ratliff-Williams (three catches, 18 yards) led the pass-catching attack.
Georgia Tech has run the ball on 84.7 percent of its offensive possessions this year while North Carolina has a rush percentage of 47.3 percent. The Yellow Jackets have produced 367 rush yards per game (including 340 per game versus Atlantic Coast opponents) and have 37 touchdowns via handoffs this year.
