It’s time once again to arbitrarily rank our NFL participants based on their win-loss records, their head-to-head match ups and performances against the spread. We have a new No. 1 this week, though the top four contains the same teams it has for most of the season. There’s less shuffling throughout the rankings as Week 9 pretty much went chalk down the line.
Here are your Against the Spread Power Rankings for Week 10:
1. New England Patriots (7-2, ATS: 6-3): That Lions loss still hangs around their necks like an albatross, but I see no reason to keep the Patriots from the top spot in the rankings this week. Last week: 2
2. New Orleans Saints (7-1, ATS: 6-2): An already potent offense added Dez Bryant at wide receiver. Last week: 4

3. Los Angeles Rams (8-1, ATS: 5-4): The 1972 Dolphins finally got their celebration and the NFL’s last unbeaten team fell. Time to start a new streak, Rams. Last week: 1
4. Kansas City Chiefs (8-1, ATS 8-1): The Cardinals aren’t much a tune-up before next week’s heavyweight bout with the Rams in Mexico City. Last week: 3
5. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2-1, ATS: 5-3): And just like that, the Steelers are back in the Super Bowl race. Last week: 5
6. Los Angeles Chargers (6-2, ATS: 4-4): Alright, Anthony Lynn. I’m in. The win in Seattle was legit. Now don’t disappoint me by stumbling against the Raiders. Last week: 6
7. Carolina Panthers (7-2, ATS: 5-3): The Panthers are the third best team in the NFC. Tonight they’ll face off against the third best team in the AFC. Last week: 8
8. Minnesota Vikings (5-3-1,ATS: 5-4): Enjoy the week off, Vikings. It’s time to make that late-season push to secure a home playoff game. Last week: 7
9. Cincinnati Bengals (5-3, ATS: 4-4): This was not the best year to be matched up with the NFC South, but the Bengals are 2-1 so far with a chance to knock off the Saints in Cincy on Sunday. Last week: 9
10. Washington Redskins (5-3, ATS: 5-3): The NFC East remains there for the taking and no one outside of the Redskins seems to want it. Last week: 11
11. Houston Texans (6-3, ATS: 4-5): Six games in a row, Bill O’Brien. Your job is safe now and so is your guaranteed Wild Card game defeat. Last week: 12
12. Baltimore Ravens (4-5, ATS: 4-5): No team needed the week off more than Baltimore after a lackluster loss at home to the Steelers. Last week: 10
13. Philadelphia Eagles (4-4 ATS: 3-5): If the Redskins do have some competition for the NFC East, it’s this team. But they have to stop dropping games against lesser opponents. Last week: 14
14. Seattle Seahawks (4-4, ATS: 4-4): Just when it looked like the Seahawks could be angling for a Wild Card berth, they drop a winnable game against the Chargers and now have to battle a Rams team coming off a loss. Last week: 13
15. Chicago Bears (5-3, ATS: 5-3): Off two consecutive wins against cupcakes, the Bears are now set to get Khalil Mack back on the field. Last week: 15
16. Atlanta Falcons (4-4, ATS: 3-5): It’s time for that patented second-half surge, Falcons. Last week: 20
17. Green Bay Packers (3-4-1 ATS: 3-5): Speaking of second halves, the Packers look like they’re heading for a swoon. On the bright side, it does look like Mike McCarthy is on his way out the door. Last week: 16
18. Tennessee Titans (4-4, ATS: 5-3): Just when Mike Vrabel needed someone to salvage his season, Jason Garrett comes along to save the day. Last week: 23
19. Miami Dolphins (5-4, ATS: 5-4): Adam Gase may not like to admit it, but the Ryan Tannehill era in Miami may be coming to an end. The guy just can’t get healthy. Last week: 19
20. Detroit Lions (3-5, ATS: 5-3): Matthew Stafford is too good a quarterback to be continually saddled with these kinds of teams and coaches. Last week: 17
21. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-5,ATS: 3-5): Now that everyone is counting out the Jaguars, they have the league right where they want them. Last week: 18
22. Indianapolis Colts (3-5, ATS: 4-4): It’ll take more than two straight wins against bad teams to convince me anything positive ss afoot in Indy. Last week: 25
23. New York Jets (3-6, ATS: 3-6): Sam Darnold is hurt, so it’s Josh McCown’s show once again. Last week: 21
24. Dallas Cowboys (3-5, ATS: 3-5): Jason Garrett, you and your worthless coaching staff will not be missed. Last week: 22
25. Denver Broncos (3-6, ATS: 3-6): Case Keenum gets a week off to prepare an even more spectacular way to let this team down when it counts the most. Last week: 24
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5, ATS: 3-5): At least when Dirk Koetter gets fired at the end of the season he and Jameis Winston can team up on the U-Haul rental. Last week: 26
27. Arizona Cardinals (2-6, ATS: 4-4): There is no solution for this Cardinals team in 2018. They’ll just have to tough it out, but Steve Wilks better find an offensive coordinator next year or his tenure will be short. Last Week: 27
28. San Francisco 49ers (1-7, ATS: 2-6): It’s Nick Mullens’ world and the rest of us are just living in it. Last week: 29
29. Cleveland Browns (2-6-1, ATS: 5-4): Gregg Williams opened up his interim head coaching tenure with a loss. Get used to that, Browns. It’s about to get ugly. Last week: 28
30. Oakland Raiders (1-7, ATS: 2-6): Jon Gruden claims players from around the league have told them they want to play for him and the Raiders in what has to be the most elaborate episode of Catfish to date. Last week: 30
31. New York Giants (1-7, ATS: 3-5): People keep talking about the Giants moving on from Eli Manning after this season. He already looks like he’s moved on from them this season. Last week: 31
32. Buffalo Bills (2-7, ATS: 3-6): Derek Anderson still has a concussion, but Josh Allen did practice Wednesday, though he was limited. Don’t let that fool you. You’ve not seen your last Nathan Peterman pick just yet. Last week: 32
