In the Crusaders’ last outing, they topped the Sacred Heart Pioneers, 93-81. Holy Cross’ 11.3 turnover percentage was their largest advantage over Sacred Heart, who had a rate of 27.1. Holy Cross received a boost from Austin Butler, who was the top scorer from either team with 26 points on 10-for-13 shooting.

The Wolverines easily got past the Norfolk State Spartans in their last contest, 63-44. The Wolverines had a much better free throw rate (0.217 vs. 0.085) and had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (34.7 vs. 18.6). Jon Teske was the top scorer from either team with 13 points on 5-for-11 shooting from the field.

The high-octane offense of Michigan will face off against the bottom-tier defense of Holy Cross. Dating back to last season, the Wolverines rank 52nd in offensive efficiency, while the Crusaders are 261st in defensive efficiency. The Wolverines figure to have the advantage on that end of the court. Furthermore, the Crusaders, who rank 347th in offensive rebounding percentage (19.9 percent), could have a tough time getting second chance points against the Wolverines, who rank 40th in defensive rebounding percentage (74.9 percent).
