New York Islanders at Florida Panthers Free Preview 11/10/18

In their second head-to-head meeting of the regular season, the New York Islanders and the Florida Panthers clash at the BB&T Center. This Eastern Conference matchup gets going at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 10, and it’ll be televised live on Fox SportsNet Florida.

New York Islanders at Florida Panthers Odds

Florida (-175) is currently favored over New York (+155) and the oddsmakers have set the Over/Under (O/U) at an even 6 goals (-110 for the over, -110 for the under).

New York is 8-7 straight up (SU) and has earned 4.9 units for moneyline bettors this season. Through 15 regular season matches, eight of its games have gone under the total, while six have gone over and just one has pushed. The Isles are 5-4 SU on the road in 2018-19.

The Panthers have been penalized 4.4 times per game this season. Last year, that number was at 4.1, the sixth-highest mark in the NHL. After serving an average of 11.0 penalty minutes per game a season ago the team’s had to kill penalties for 10.9 minutes per matchup this year.

James Reimer has stopped 20.3 shots per game as the primary choice in the crease for Florida. Reimer has two wins, six losses, and one overtime loss to his credit and has recorded a mediocre 3.36 goals against average and a subpar .885 save percentage this year.

Evgenii Dadonov (seven goals, seven assists) will pace the attack for the Panthers.
