There is plenty of exciting NBA action headed our way this week which means plenty of NBA betting opportunities. Will the Raptors, Bucks, and Warriors continue to roll? Will the Cavaliers finally get their second win of the season? Can the Portland Trailblazers continue to rake it in for their backers? Only time will tell. Let’s take a look at the best bets for the upcoming week.
San Antonio Spurs at Sacramento Kings – Monday, November 12th
Dating back to last season, the San Antonio Spurs have been a terrible road team. This year, they are 2-2 SU and ATS on the road as they head to Sacramento, who is 7-5 SU and 8-4 ATS on the year. Unlike the Spurs on the road, the Kings have been a very solid bet at home. They are 3-2 SU and 4-0-1 ATS at home this year. They might look like an attractive under play at home as well but that is negated in this case as San Antonio road games have tended to go over the total recently.

My Pick: Sacramento Kings ATS
Houston Rockets at Denver Nuggets – Tuesday, November 13th
The 9-3 Denver Nuggets are off to a good start to the season and look strong despite dropping their last two games. A 7-5 ATS record has been mildly profitable and those have been betting their games to go under the total have been rewarded with an 8-3-1 record. They are also 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS in home games this year.
The visiting Rockets have been a different story with just four wins in their first eleven games. Even more disappointing is their money-sucking 3-8 ATS record. While they have a 4-3 SU record in road games this year, they are just 3-4 ATS and have been held to under 100 points in their last four road games. Meanwhile, the Nuggets have reached the 100-point plateau in all of their home games so far.
My Pick: Denver Nuggets ATS
Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets – Thursday, November 15th
This matchup looked like it would be a dandy before the season started but it isn’t looking like it will live up to the hype. The Rockets have been struggling and the fact that they are dealing with a few injuries as well as travel, makes it’s hard to imagine they’ll have much of a chance. Add in the fact that the Rockets are 0-4 SU and ATS at home this year and it really looks bleak.
As for the Warriors, an 11-2 record speaks for itself. They are 4-1 SU but just 2-3 ATS on the road which is in keeping with a trend that emerged last season. Now, Golden State has a couple of injuries as well but let’s not forget that they have great depth. This game has the potential to be a quite high scoring but it will be Golden State who does the bulk of it.
My Pick: Golden State Warriors ATS
Toronto Raptors at Boston Celtics – Friday, November 16th
The 12-1 Raptors are on a a six-game winning streak in which they have gone 4-1-1 ATS. Toronto is putting up a lot of points and haven’t put up less than 107 points in any of their road games this year. They have a road record of 5-1 SU and 3-2-1 ATS.
On the other hand, the Boston Celtics are 1-3 SU and 0-4 ATS in their last four outings, although all of those games were on the road. At home, the Celtics are 3-1 SU and 2-2 ATS. It’s also worth mentioning that these two teams met earlier in Toronto in a game that saw Toronto win and cover, 113-101. The Celtics have covered just twice in the last nine meetings between these two teams.
My Pick: Toronto Raptors ATS
Utah Jazz at Boston Celtics – Saturday, November 17th
The Celtics will be playing their second game in as many nights when they host the Jazz on Saturday. Boston will have just faced the Raptors and might be a little tired heading into this one. Luckily, for Boston backers, the Celtics are certainly better at home than they are on the road, but they are also very streaky ATS.
The Jazz have put together back-to-back wins after suffering through a four-game losing streak. They have been kind to over bettors with their 9-3 record but are a mediocre 6-6 ATS. These two teams faced each other on November 9th and the Jazz got the win and the cover as 5.5-point favorites. Kyrie Irving missed that one but he’ll be playing in Saturday’s tilt.
My Pick: Boston Celtics ATS
