Wyoming Cowboys vs Boise State Broncos Odds

The Boise State Broncos take on the Wyoming Cowboys this week in a game that will feature the country’s fourth-leading rusher, Brian Hill (985 yards, 3 TDs). Coming into the game, the Broncos are 5-2 while the Cowboys are 1-6. The game will air Saturday, Oct 24 at 10:15 p.m. ET on ESP2.

In last week’s matchup, Boise State struggled mightily against Utah State 52-26. Thomas Sperbeck had a huge game in the loss, grabbing six receptions for 156 yards. Wyoming is hoping for another victory like last week’s performance, when it defeated Nevada 28-21. Tanner Gentry had a great game for the Cowboys, pulling in four receptions for 86 yards and one TD.

The odds between the Broncos and the Cowboys are even this week, while the Over/Under (O/U) is currently not available.

Sitting at 5-2 Straight Up (SU) and 4-3 Against The Spread (ATS), the Broncos will look to improve heading into Week 8. Boise State has averaged 46 points per game over the last five weeks, higher than its season average of 38.6. During those five games, they are averaging 505.8 per contest. Crossing over to the defensive side of the ball, the Broncos look to have a distinct advantage in certain spots. Expect the Cowboys to have a tough time running against the fifth-ranked Broncos run defense, which gives up 77.3 yards per game on the ground. An important aspect of the game will be if the Cowboys can fend off Boise State’s ability to take the ball away. The Broncos currently rank 10th in the nation with 2.4 turnovers per game. In the first quarter, Boise State is tough to stop, putting up 11.1 points in the first 15 minutes.

Over on the other sideline, the Cowboys head into Week 8 with records of 4-3 ATS and 1-6 SU. Over the last five games, the Cowboys turned it up on defense, only allowing an average of 168.4 passing yards per game.
