Connecticut Huskies vs Cincinnati Bearcats Odds

Hayden Moore and the Cincinnati Bearcats take on Bryant Shirreffs and the Connecticut Huskies in a game that will feature two of the best players in the AAC. It’s gone from bad to worse for Connecticut (3-4) this season, with the team dropping four of their last five. The game starts at 4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct 24 and will be available on CBSS.

In last week’s matchup, Cincinnati lost to BYU 38-24. Shaq Washington had a huge game in the loss, pulling in five receptions for 103 yards. Connecticut also fell short, losing to South Florida 28-20. Alec Bloom had a good performance for the Huskies, grabbing five receptions for 97 yards. Bryant Shirreffs also had a great game with 365 yards and a TD through the air.

This week’s matchup between the Bearcats and Huskies has even odds and the Over/Under (O/U) is unavailable currently.

Sitting at 3-3 Straight Up (SU) and 2-4 Against The Spread (ATS), the Bearcats will look to improve heading into Week 8. Cincinnati’s offense is averaging 528.2 total yards over the last five games.

As for their opponent, the Huskies head into Week 8 with records of 3-4 for both ATS and SU. Other teams have a high success rate throwing the ball against the Bearcats. It may be in Connecticut’s game plan to take advantage of the home team’s inability to stop the pass, 106th in the nation at 13.3 yards per pass. Shifting to the other side of the ball, it might be tough for the Bearcats to keep up with Connecticut’s defense in a few areas. The Bearcats are matching up with Connecticut’s defense at an inopportune time. Over the last five games, Connecticut’s opponents have only averaged 206.2 yards through the air. If the Bearcats don’t do a good job holding on to the ball, they’ll have a hard time against the Huskies defense, which ranks 25th in the country in turnovers with two per game.

Predictions: SU Winner – Cincinnati, ATS Winner – Cincinnati
