Nyqwan Murray was a bright spot in the loss for Florida State, posting 79 yards on six catches. For Notre Dame, Brandon Wimbush completed 12-of-25 passes for 130 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Dexter Williams (202 rushing yards on 20 attempts, two TDs) and the signal-caller Wimbush (68 yards on 12 carries) mounted the running attack as Chris Finke (four receptions, 59 yards) and Miles Boykin (four catches, 30 yards, one TD) led the pass-catching corps in the win.
