Tennessee State Tigers vs. CSUN Matadors Betting Prediction

In the Tigers’ last game, they dismantled the Fisk University Bulldogs, 113-61. Tennessee State out-rebounded Fisk University. The Tigers had more offensive rebounds (17 vs. nine), defensive rebounds (42 vs. 17) and total rebounds (59 vs. 26). With 24 points on 9-for-11 shooting, Tripp Davis was the top scorer from either team.

The Matadors lost a tough one against the Portland Pilots in their last game, 80-77. Portland’s turnover percentage was their biggest strength over CSUN. The Pilots posted a mark of 13.6 (weaker than their season average of 12.3), while the Matadors had a rate of 15.5 (above the 11.2 mark opponents have averaged against Portland this season). With 21 points and 12 rebounds, Lamine Diane put together a good performance for CSUN.

The inefficient offense of CSUN will go head-to-head against the stingy defense of Tennessee State. Since last season, the Matadors rank 319th in offensive efficiency, while the Tigers are 37th in defensive efficiency. The Tigers figure to have the advantage on that end of the court.
