Villanova Wildcats vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys ATS Prediction

The Wildcats will be hoping for a similar outcome after thoroughly outplaying the Canisius Golden Griffins in their last contest, 83-56. Villanova out-rebounded Canisius. The Wildcats had more offensive rebounds (18 vs. seven), defensive rebounds (33 vs. 17) and total rebounds (51 vs. 24). Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree played well for Villanova, finishing with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

In the Cowboys’ last matchup, they had no trouble getting past the Memphis Tigers, 84-64. Getting to the free throw line was one of Oklahoma State’s largest strengths. They made 26 trips to the line, while Memphis went 19 times. With 11 points and 12 rebounds, Oklahoma State’s Cameron McGriff played well.

Since last season, the Wildcats are 33-6 straight up (SU) and 18-20-1 against the spread (ATS). Vegas has had a tendency to place the total high when Villanova is involved since last season as 64.1 percent of their games have ended under the O/U total.

The Cowboys, meanwhile, are 22-15 SU and 19-12 ATS since last season. Vegas has been fairly accurate when setting the O/U total of Oklahoma State games over that same period with 16 overs compared to 15 unders.

Villanova figures to have the advantage on the offensive side of the ball. The Wildcats rank first in offensive efficiency, while Oklahoma State ranks 144th in defensive efficiency since the 2017-18 season.
