One of the biggest mistakes that sports bettors can make from week to week is overreacting to what just happened. The sportsbooks do an excellent job of making sure that they consider the outlook of the betting public before releasing their lines. However, if you are keen enough and you pay attention to the numbers you can find some favorable lines that can be exploited by making a teaser wager. We did our best to find four teams to use in a seven-point teaser pick for this Sunday. Here is a look at the best seven-point, four-team teaser pick for Week 13 of the NFL season.
Los Angeles Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers
Line: Pittsburgh -3.5
The Chargers are coming off a lopsided 45-10 win over the Arizona Cardinals last week to improve to 8-3 this season. Now they head on the road for an AFC showdown against the Steelers in a potential playoff game preview. Pittsburgh owns the best record in the AFC North at 7-3-1. That said, they are coming off an ugly 24-17 loss to the Denver Broncos after barely scraping past the Jacksonville Jaguars with a 20-16 win the week before. The Steelers are 3-2 at home so far this year. Meanwhile, LA is 4-1 on the road. The Chargers are also 4-1 against the spread on the road this season so it won’t be a surprise if they manage to cover as 3.5-point underdogs this week. Apply the seven-point tease, and it moves Los Angeles from +3.5 to +10.5 That’s a very comfortable cushion for a Chargers team that could very well win this game straight up on the road.

Baltimore Ravens at Atlanta Falcons
Line: Baltimore -2.5
The Falcons have been one of the worst teams to bet on this season with a league-worst 3-8 record against the spread. While it might seem smart to stay away from them for the near future, the fact that Atlanta is listed as a 2.5-point underdog at home against the Ravens makes them an interesting teaser option. Baltimore is just 1-4 in its last five games against the spread. Since the start of 2016, the Ravens are 2-8 ATS and 3-7 straight up against NFC opponents. The Falcons have lost three in a row so there will be a sense of urgency to break out of their slump and try to get back in the win column. The seven-point tease moves Atlanta from +2.5 to +9.5 at home. That number is definitely big enough to feel comfortable adding the Falcons to our teaser ticket.
Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders
Line: Kansas City -15
Since Andy Reid’s arrival in Kansas City back in 2013, the Chiefs are 8-2 straight up and 7-3 against the spread against the Raiders. There is a good trend again this week with the Chiefs listed as 15-point favorites on the road. While that number is fairly high, it’s important to keep in mind that Oakland has already lost seven times by 14 points or more this season. While it’s conceivable that Kansas City covers the 15-point spread, a seven-point teaser moves them from -15 to -8, which is a much more manageable number. The Chiefs should have no problem covering that number against a Raiders team that has been an absolute mess all year.
Minnesota Vikings at New England Patriots
Line: New England -6
The Vikings are coming off a big win over Green Bay. Now they head to New England looking to move one step closer to earning a playoff spot. The Patriots are undefeated at home this season and they are 4-1 against the spread. Factor in the seven-point tease and the Vikings move from +6 to +13. The Patriots might win this game straight up, but Minnesota should be able to cover the double-digit cushion as the final pick on our four-team, seven-point teaser ticket.
