Stony Brook Seawolves at Manhattan Jaspers ATS Prediction

The Seawolves come in on a high note after just getting past the George Washington Colonials in their last game, 77-74. Stony Brook’s 12.8 turnover percentage was their biggest advantage over George Washington, who had a mark of 19.5. With 18 points on 6-for-17 shooting, Elijah Olaniyi led Stony Brook in scoring.

The last time the Jaspers took the court, they were beaten by the Elon Phoenix, 62-56. Elon’s 0.267 free throw rate was their biggest strength over Manhattan, who had a rate of 0.077. With 10 points and eight rebounds, Thomas Capuano put together a good game for Manhattan.

Manhattan might have a tough time finding the bottom of the net as they square off against one of the NCAA’s best defenses. Stony Brook ranks 92nd in defensive efficiency, while the Jaspers rank 309th in offensive efficiency dating back to the 2017-18 season. Ball security could be troublesome for the Seawolves. They rank 297th at avoiding errors (turnover percentage of 20.5 percent), while the Jaspers have forced the 11th-most turnovers in the NCAA (opponents’ turnover percentage of 22.9 percent).
