The Syracuse Orange (6-2) look to extend their five-game home winning streak in a matchup against the Georgetown Hoyas (7-1) at Carrier Dome. The game starts at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 8, 2018, and will air on ESPN.

The last time the Hoyas played, they topped the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks, 68-53. The Hoyas had a much better free throw rate (0.250 vs. 0.079) and had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.529 vs. 0.381). Georgetown was lifted by Josh LeBlanc, who recorded 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The Orange had no trouble getting past the Eastern Washington Eagles in their last contest, 66-34. The Orange had a much better free throw rate (0.242 vs. 0.034) and had a much better turnover percentage (11.9 vs. 23.3). Oshae Brissett was the top scorer from either team with 20 points on 8-for-14 shooting from the field.

The Orange won the sole game against the Hoyas last season, 86-79. The Orange had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (40.4 vs. 26.5) and had a better turnover percentage (16.4 vs. 18.6).
