The primetime game on Christmas Day pits another matchup between the Golden State Warriors and LeBron James. It’s the first time in the regular season the Warriors will see James in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform and it’s sure to be a good game. Will it be Kevin Durant leading the Warriors, or will one of the other Golden State Warriors’ sharp shooters lead the way?
Durant’s leading the way
This season Durant has certainly had his fair share of big offensive nights, leading the Warriors with 29 points per game. So, that begs the question, how many point will he score on Christmas Day? The over/under is set at 29.5, but Durant has been averaging just 26.7 points per game in December, during which the Warriors are 8-3.

Christmas past
In eight Christmas Day games, Durant is averaging 31.13 points. During his time with the Warriors he is averaging 30.5 points on Christmas, but put up just 25 points in the showcase game a season ago.
Will he score 30 this year?
In the last three games Durant has scored 30, 29 and most recently, 35 points in a win against the Los Angeles Clippers, his biggest scoring effort of December. Last month he also finished out with big games as well, so perhaps it’s a trend this season and will carry into Christmas Day as well.
