The last time the Bengals played, they were blown out by the Northern Colorado Bears, 77-53. One of Northern Colorado’s largest advantages was their ability to convert at the free throw line. They were 12-15 (80.0 percent), while the Bengals were just 5-9 (55.6 percent). Kelvin Jones had a solid outing for Idaho State, recording 11 points and six rebounds.

The Grizzlies won big over the Idaho Vandals in their last contest, 69-51. The Grizzlies had an absurdly low turnover percentage of 7.9 (better than their season average of 16.6) and had an offensive rebounding percentage of 37.5 (above their season average of 28.3). Ahmaad Rorie was Montana’s leading scorer with 20 points on 8-for-14 shooting from the field.

After the Grizzlies won the lone game against the Bengals last season, 75-64, these teams will meet for the first time this year. The Grizzlies had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (42.5 vs. 12.5) and had a much better free throw rate (0.286 vs. 0.086).
