The Grand Canyon Antelopes (14-7, 7-1 WAC) put their five-game winning streak on the line when they meet the UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros (12-12, 4-4 WAC) at Grand Canyon University Arena. The game starts at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, February 7, 2019, and will air on ESPN 3.

In the Vaqueros’ last game, they topped the UMKC Kangaroos, 75-63. He also had seven rebounds and five assists. Grand Canyon had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (35.1 vs. 18.2). UT Rio Grande Valley, on the other hand, did a terrific job of making free throws (20-24; 83.3 percent).
This has potential to be a sloppy game for the offense of Grand Canyon. Grand Canyon ranks 110th in the NCAA in ball protection (turnover percentage of 18.0 percent), while the pesky defense of UT Rio Grande Valley forces the fourth-most turnovers in the NCAA (25.5 percent).
