It’s not often that a pitcher hits a home run, and it’s even less often that he does it in a game in which he’s also dominating on the mound. But the Mets’ Zach Wheeler pulled off that rare combo against the Phillies on Tuesday night. Speaking of rare, did you see what Javier Baez did to beat out an infield single? Zack Wheeler became the first player this season to hit 100 mph with a pitch and 100 mph exit velocity on a swing in the same game. Pretty good stuff.
