With the NFL Draft complete, teams are ready to get back on the field and see what the 2019 season has in store. Training camp is still more than two months away, of course, but the National Football League really has no offseason. Besides, as Khalil Mack and Roquan Smith can attest, it’s always fun to look ahead and dream about what the next season has in store. Elsewhere, the question as to whether the Giants could have waited to select Duke quarterback Daniel Jones remains.
At this time last year, Roquan Smith had just been the Bears’ first-round draft pick and Khalil Mack was still the future of the Oakland Raiders. Now they’re both Chicago Bears and looking forward to another division championship quest.
