A memorable season for the Jackets
The Columbus Blue Jackets, one of the most pleasant surprises in this NHL season, are eliminated out of the playoffs but they are proud of their performance. The Jackets’ fans were outstanding throughout their playoff run and they saluted their players with a standing ovation.
It was a memorable season.

Roenick not happy with a call on McAvoy
Jeremy Roenick, a former NHL player, and current TV personality was far from happy with the officials’ decision to give Charles McAvoy just a two-minute penalty for his illegal check to the head in the second period of Boston Bruins’ 3-0 win over Columbus Blue Jackets.
Charlie McAvoy is lucky to still be in this game. I think the hit was worthy of a major penalty, but again, it’s playoffs so refs will be a little more lenient. Maybe it will be reviewed by the @NHL.
