Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith announced via his Instagram account that he will be stepping away from the game for a season while he “gets his world in order.” Smith is one of the most underrated linebackers in the game. Last year, Smith totaled 134 tackles, four for a loss, two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, two passes defended, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a sack.

Benjamin Watson to sign with Patriots
Tight end Benjamin Watson isn’t ready to hang up his spurs just yet. After meeting with the tight end-needy New England Patriots, Watson is reportedly ready to sign a free agent deal with the team. Watson spent last season with the New Orleans Saints, catching 35 passes for 400 yards and two touchdowns. The 38-year-old was originally drafted by the Patriots back in 2004 in the first round.
Former #Patriots TE Benjamin Watson is planning to sign back with New England again. There are a few issues to work through, but those won’t hold up the deal. The former first round pick will be back home again.
