Injuries have cut two tenures, and likely careers, short. Seattle Seahawks all-timers Kam Chancellor and Doug Baldwin were released by the team Thursday night due to injuries. Baldwin has been under the knife three times since 2018 and rumors have been in the wind a while that he might not play again. Chancellor suffered a neck injury in 2017 and never took the field in 2018.
Neither man has officially retired yet.

As contract talks stall, could the Vikings trade Kyle Rudolph?
Contract extension talks between Kyle Rudolph and the Minnesota Vikings have stalled, prompting trade rumors to begin swirling around the veteran tight end. Minnesota hedged its bets on Rudolph in April’s draft, selecting Irv Smith Jr. out of Alabama in the second round. Last year Rudolph caught 64 passes for 634 yards and four touchdowns.
The #Vikings had held active extension talks with veteran TE Kyle Rudolph, but those broke off this morning, sources say. With Minnesota drafting TE Irv Smith and Rudolph due $7.5M, this development could lead to a trade elsewhere. There is interest around the NFL.

Kendell Beckwith still not ready to return to Buccaneers
Linebacker Kendell Beckwith will miss his second straight season after struggling to recover from an ankle injury that kept him out all of 2018. As a rookie in 2017, Beckwith started 11 games and played in all 16, recording 73 tackles, seven for a loss, two passes defended, one forced fumble and a sack.
