OJ Simpson is in the news again as the former NFL running back reportedly joined Twitter late last night. It’s very strange that he chose this particular time to join, as ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson was murdered just a little over 25 years ago today. The subsequent trial was national news throughout 1995 and polarized America after OJ was stunningly found ‘not guilty’. OJ’s actions since then have not led anyone to believe he was indeed innocent, and his abhorrent decision in 2006 to hypothetically confess was only aired last year.

Nick Caserio is no longer a candidate for the Houston Texans’ open general manager position, and the New England Patriots have dropped the tampering charges they had filed against Houston. The Texans seem set to go the rest of the year without a general manager as Adam Schefter notes below, but that could create some problems when it comes to personnel decisions throughout the year.
With Houston dropping its pursuit of Nick Caserio, there now is a scenario under which the Texans will go this season without an official General Manager. For less than a year, Bill O’Brien, Jack Easterby and the scouting dept could divvy up the duties.

Kliff Kingsbury has been one of the big stories of the NFL offseason, and the Arizona Cardinals new head coach had an interesting way of keeping tabs on his players while he was at Texas Tech. He admitted to setting up fake social media accounts with pictures of cute girls in order to monitor his players online activity. Kingsbury has declared that his players will receive cell phone breaks during training camp, but they should think twice before trying to slide into someone’s DMs.

We have heard rave reviews about Dwayne Haskins for the last month, and at this point they don’t feel like fluff. Haskins seems likely to start in Week 1 barring any major setbacks, and the first round pick has made a believer out of Jay Gruden. If a quarterback is going to be a star in this league, we typically find out pretty early, so we’ll see how good Haskins can be pretty quickly.
Jay Gruden: Dwayne Haskins' talent obvious, 'deserves a shot' to start ..”let’s take a peek at this big son of a…” and You see the 'wow' plays and you're like, 'Jesus.’ When he's on, there's nobody you'd rather have than Dwayne” https://t.co/8q902ZRGwr
