Plenty of Michigan and non-Michigan fans are having fun with the university’s tweet from yesterday that asked fans what made them fall in love with the Wolverines. There have been a number of serious answers, as well as some not so serious ones, but this was the best of the bunch. Younger fans may not remember Colorado beating Michigan in the Big House after a Kordell Stewart Hail Mary, but that is still one of the toughest losses in Wolverines history.

One of the main reasons we all love college football is the tailgate scene. Tailgates are an integral part of college football Saturdays, and there is always a lot of debate over what schools have the best tailgates. It’s hard to argue about the top four places in this list, but No. 8 is a pretty questionable pick. Miami is notorious for its fickle fan support, and if the Hurricanes are a 7-5 or 8-4 team, fans don’t show up at their games. Maybe the person that made this list was influenced by the wonders of South Beach.

Finally, there is once again chatter regarding Texas and Texas A&M renewing their rivalry. Governor Greg Abbott is hoping to get the Lone Star State rivals to start playing again, but there are still a lot of bitter feelings after the Aggies left the Big 12 for the SEC. The two schools haven’t met on the gridiron since 2011, and the back and forth between the two fanbases has been something else.
