Elliott Meeting With Goodell, Sanders Back for Week 1 and More

Is Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott due for another suspension? The running back will meet with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday to discuss an altercation in Las Vegas back in May. Elliott was cuffed by police, but not charged after a confrontation with a security guard at a music festival. Elliott could at least get fined under the current league personal conduct policy.

Sanders looks at Week 1 Return

Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders feels a Week 1 return to action is “realistic.” Sanders tore his Achilles on Dec. 5 last season. Sanders appeared in 12 games last season, catching 71 passes for 868 yards and four touchdowns.

Have the Raiders locked in on Simms in Supplemental draft?

Reportedly Oakland Raiders general manager Mike Mayock attended a workout for West Virginia wide receiver Marcus Simms. Simms has entered the NFL Supplemental Draft and will forgo his senior season at West Virginia. The 6-0, 194-pound receiver caught 46 passes for 699 yards and two touchdowns last season for the Mountaineers.
