RJ Barrett claims he can dunk like his former teammate Zion Williamson. The NBA fans are anxiously waiting to see both of them on the floor in the upcoming season, and are excited to see them going against each other.
In a recent interview with GQ, Barrett talked about himself and Williamson. He said that both of them are big dunkers, but people believe Zion is better because of his unique physique.
“I mean, he won every time. The funny thing is, people don’t know that I can do some of the dunks he can do. He’s a freak of nature, so it’s really unfair,” Barrett revealed.
RJ Barrett, in a Bleacher Report AMA, is asked who he’d like to posterize right now: “I know who I really wanna say but I’m not gonna. Let’s go with Porzingis.” https://t.co/gzNtbPeGjA

Following Williamson’s big shoe deal with Jordan Brand, Barrett also secured his multi-year endorsement deal with Puma. The brand expressed excitement with an agreement, and they are happy to have a player of Barrett’s profile on the board.
“We are thrilled to have RJ join the Puma family as we enter our second season of Puma Hoops. He’s obviously an incredible talent and we’re proud that he’s bringing his bold personality to our brand. We’re especially pleased to have a young, game changing athlete in New York—the home of Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier, and Puma Hoops. We look forward to a strong partnership with him and a fantastic rookie season ahead,” Puma wrote.
Barrett got used to winning games while with Duke. Although losing is something new to him, he is with the New York Knicks now and there are a lot of challenges.
“I’m not going to lie to you, I haven’t really lost. Maybe nine or ten games in the past five years. And even when I was younger, I was always winning championships,” Barret stated.
RJ also spoke about matchups with some of the best players in the NBA, mentioning the Houston Rockets’ James Harden and Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo.
“I’m actually kind of more looking forward to playing against James Harden because that would definitely be my matchup at my position, and definitely Giannis,” Barrett pointed out.
