The Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott is playing at an MVP through three games to begin the 2019 season.
Concluding the 31-6 Cowboys win over the hapless Miami Dolphins, he has nine touchdowns compared to just two interceptions. Also, he’s completed 74.5 percent of his passes for a rating of 128. All of this is good enough for 9.8 yards per attempt and a 3-0 team record.
Still, Dak Prescott desires something beyond just a new big contract from owner Jerry Jones. Indeed, Dak Prescott wants Wendy’s Spicy Nuggets. This comes to us from Bleacher Report Gridiron, where they found NFL Films video from Sunday’s game.

In the video, Prescott calls a play. Then, something a little out of the ordinary – or perhaps it is regular huddle talk – takes place.
“Skip to the right flank, right stack, 32 sound alert X foot. Oh! Spicy Nuggets are back. I might have to stop on the way home.”
Huddle talk is so cool.
Certainly, Wendy’s can’t be too upset with the kind of advertising this should on outlets like this site and Bleacher Report. Already, there’s a good degree of buzz about Wendy’s Spicy Nuggets. Now, you have the quarterback of America’s Team talking about them in the huddle on Sunday’s.
First, I need to try these. In fact, Prescott already has me curious; and I might have to stop on the way home. Second, perhaps this sets up some kind of advertising partnership with Prescott and Wendy’s. Maybe this was the angle all along?
In all seriousness, this was a really cool little find. NFL Films does a great job of capturing things like this every week that bring fans down on the field and into the huddle. Furthermore, they have been doing it since I was a little kid (thank you, Steve Sabol).
Finally, Prescott should be able to afford all the Wendy’s Spicy Nuggets he would ever want to eat soon. Rumors and reports are expecting him to sign a contract extension with the Cowboys that would put him in ‘rare air’ in terms of the dollar amount.
Simply put, Precott is a good, fun player to watch. This is just one more example of the personality that makes him so attractive to a franchise like the Cowboys.
