Yesterday, both the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys had letdown losses that have each team at 3-3, tied atop their respective division. Now, eyes turn towards a showdown on Sunday Night Football between the two that will decide who is in control of their destiny.
Furthermore, Philadelphia head coach Doug Pederson feels good about this match-up. Enough that, he’s willing to guarantee the win somewhat. Wait until you read this one – reported at ESPN and NBC Sports.

Here’s the quote from the former Super Bowl winning head coach Pederson:
“We’re going down to Dallas, and our guys are gonna be ready to play. And we’re gonna win that football game, and when we do, we’re in first place in the NFC East,” Pederson told the radio station. “We control our own destiny. We’re right where we need to be.”
However, even though Pederson is kind of guaranteeing that they’ll win, he says that’s not what this is.
“Never said. … I never said ‘guarantee a win,'” Pederson said. “I’d never do that.”
Of course, the big winner in all of this is you and I. When you get Pederson, Jerry Jones, Dak Prescott, Carson Wentz, and Jason Garrett all in one spot on National TV; it’s must-see. Then, add in the fact that there’s some bulletin board material. With a division crown at stake, this is the marquee match-up for week seven in the NFL.
Sunday night cannot get here soon enough.
