When Lavar Ball talks, sometimes we should listen. Moreover, everything the eldest Ball says is interesting; and typically it’s worth sifting through what is important.
Right now, it’s in regards to what shoes his sons will be wearing going forward. While footwear is a hot topic every year in regards to what player will wear what, the Ball brothers are staying loyal to family for now; says Lavar. He told this to TMZ sports in an interview on Monday.

Recently, Lonzo said that things should have gone differently in his two years with the Los Angeles Lakers. What’s more, Lonzo said that he knows he didn’t live up to expectations.
After showing that maturity, now he’s showing loyalty. His brother is following suit to start, too.
“Everybody is scouting LaMelo,” LaVar said … “It’s okay though.”
Without a doubt, Lonzo has to think about the ramifications of the chance to become a Nike sponsored athlete. Still, while the brand association with Nike is bigger; his overall rake and take-home pay for his ‘loyaly’ may be bigger with BBB (Big Baller Brand). After all, he is the flagship athlete of the company at this point.
His father Lavar says his top spokesperson for BBB is ok to think about other opportunities. He’s just not going anywhere.
“Lonzo can think all day. He ain’t signing with nobody. Big Baller Brand. That’s what I said.”
The Balls will likely continue to be a dysfunctional circus in the NBA for sites like this one to write about all year long. Honestly, it’s interesting to see how this story turns. This could end up one of the biggest nightmare sports parents stories of all time.
Big Baller Brand is only one piece of a big puzzle.
