Sitting at 12-0 Straight Up (SU) and 7-5 Against The Spread (ATS), the Hawkeyes will look to improve heading into Week 14. Michigan State’s offense will need to use all of its options against the sixth-ranked Hawkeyes run defense, which gives up 110 rushing yards per game.

As for their opponent, the Spartans head into Week 14 with records of 5-7 ATS and 11-1 SU. Over their last five games, the Spartans have a SU and ATS record of 4-1 for those betting with them. The Hawkeyes are matching up with Michigan State’s defense at an inopportune time. Over the last five games, Michigan State’s opponents have only averaged 230.4 yards through the air. The Hawkeyes might be leery of ball security against the Spartans. They rank 14th in the country in fumbles recovered with 0.9 per game.
